Paige (Rose McGrown)

Paige Matthews is the daughter of Patty Halliwell and her Whitelighter lover Sam. Fearing for the safety of their newborn child after they broke the rules of the Elders by falling in love, Patty and Sam decided along with Grams to hide the baby in an orphanage. While growing up Paige was a rebellious child that drank, smoked, and skipped school. It was when her adoptive parents died that Paige sobered up. A powerful essay on her parents death got her into college. She works at South Bay Social Services. Paige decided to look for her birth parents, she gave up her search when she found out that her suspected birth mother, Patty Halliwell, had died a long time ago. Despite this, she always felt somehow connected to the Halliwells. Paige frequented P3 two years ago to be closer to the girls. When Prue died and Piper incited the spell to find a lost witch, Paige magically received the paper showing Prue's death. At the funeral Paige met the sisters, especially Pheobe, who had a premotion Shax would kill her. Little did Paige and the girls know they were really sisters. At first Paige seemed reluctant to use her powers and being a witch but slowly forming the bond with her sisters is helping her accept her powers. She's moved into the Halliwell home and is adjusting to her new life. She resigned from her job and is a full fledged witch. But being a full fledge witch wasn’t what she thought it would be. After she got it she wanted a life outside of magic which is what she looked for. Paige has been unlucky when it comes to love, and has been hurt many times in the past. After she met Henery a parole officer they fell in deeply in love.

Paige & Henery

A year later when Paige was trying to protect a future Whitelighter, she met Henry Mitchell, her charge's parole officer. At first they seemed to have nothing in common, until Paige learned they have similar backgrounds (Paige was adopted, Henry grew up in foster care). A romance soon blossomed between them, and their relationship progressed quickly but naturally. While in a hostage situation, Paige used her Whitelighter healing powers by herself for the first time in order to save Henry from a gunshot wound, insinuating Paige indeed loved Henry. She eventually told Henry that she was a witch. Henry seems to have accepted this, understanding Paige was doing good, important things with her magic. However, nothing runs smoothly in a Halliwell's love life: a male witch named Sir Simon Marks appeared and declared that Paige was destined to marry him. Paige refused his (many) offers of marriage, saying that she was in love with Henry. Simon and Henry fought over Paige in a "duel", and Henry won (through some good old-fashioned punching), and by successfully arguing that he was the one who truly knew and loved Paige, while Simon only wanted Paige for her power and reputation. Once Simon was gone, Henry realized he was the one who truly wanted to be Paige's husband. He proposed to Paige immediately, and she accepted. Soon after, Paige and Henry were married. Their marriage will bring them twin daughters and a son named Henry Jr.
